Charlemagne, Domaine de la Vougeraie 2020

Tasting Notes

**Note: from parcels of .28 ha in En Charlemagne and .22 ha in Le Charlemagne; note that this could also be declared as Corton-Charlemagne**
Cool and ultra-fresh aromas include those of Granny Smith apples, mineral reduction, white flower and discreet spice nuances. The delicious, dense and overtly powerful large-scaled flavors possess plenty of sappy dry extract that imparts a suave mouthfeel to the serious and youthfully austere finale. This is not especially refined but it appears to have excellent development potential.
