Tasting Notes

The 2020 Morgon Côte du Py is one of the region's most dependable classics, unfurling in the glass with notes of cassis, sweet berry fruit, spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with lively acids, powdery tannins and a seamless, complete profile, it concludes with a long, mouthwatering finish. 2021 - 2035

The intensity of the forest-berry fruit on the nose must be experienced to be believed! And when you look closer, there are also notes of bitter chocolate and dried sage. On the sleek and super-focused palate, the fruit doesn’t let up and is married to a delicate mineral note that gives this so much energy at the supernaturally refreshing finish. Drink or hold.
