A wonderfully floral-suffused nose is comprised by notes of lavender, rose petal and lilac along with very spicy and cool aromas of exotic tea, ripe plum and a whiff of hoisin. There is almost painful intensity to the overtly mineral-driven and tautly muscular flavors that don't have the sheer breadth of the Corton but are finer and more precise and particularly so on the youthfully austere and very structured finale. This too is terrific and should age effortlessly over the next several decades.
