Chambolle Musigny Amoureuses, Domaine Francois Bertheau 2018

As is usually the case, this is the spiciest wine in the range with its equally liqueur-like nose of poached plum, cassis and plethora of floral elements. The very generously proportioned middle weight flavors exude a discreet minerality on the clean, dry and lingering finish that exhibits just enough warmth to notice. This isn't as elegant as the 2019 version though it is certainly richer and more powerful. This is a relatively big Amoureuses and a wine that is going to require extended patience.
