Mid tawny/mahogany colour. There is real precision and clarity to the nose here; dried fruit, old books, fresh almonds and preserved lemons unfold with time in the glass. This follows on the palate, which is earthy and rich. Harmonious and gentle sweetness sits against smoky cep mushroom tones. Layered and long, this is a very fine example.
