CDP Tradition, Domaine Giraud 2011

Tasting Notes

The 2011 Domaine Giraud Châteauneuf-du-Pape is classic blend of 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah, and 5% Mourvedre that is aged mostly in tank. Soft and already approachable, with loads of ripe red and black fruits, garrigue, and exotic flower-like qualities on the nose, this full-bodied, voluptuous, and textured Châteauneuf-du-Pape has layers of fruit, excellent freshness, and outstanding length. It will be drinkable on release, and have upwards of 10-12 years of longevity.
