An exuberantly fresh and expressive nose features an array that is comprised by essence of red pinot fruit, herbal tea, spice and a whiff of oak toast. The lilting and lacy lighter weight flavors are markedly saline in character that continues onto the clean, detailed, and dusty finale. This is quite pretty and if it can add depth with a few years of bottle it could be potentially excellent as it's already very good.
Charming and expressive, the 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Village bursts from the glass with aromas of cherries, red berries, wilted rose petals, sweet soil tones and a deft framing of new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with melting tannins and an open-knit core of succulent fruit.
