Chassagne Montrachet l'Estimée (rouge), Domaine Jean-Noël Gagnard 2015

Tasting Notes

A pepper-inflected, expressive and wonderfully fresh nose offers up a combination of both red and dark currant along with plenty of earth. The rich, round and ripe medium weight flavors possess an unusually refined mouth feel for a Chassagne villages while the balanced finish delivers fine persistence and better than average depth. Note further that this could easily be enjoyed young.
