Mid lemon yellow. Some stones on the nose along with good intensity. Is there a hint of something not quite pure? Maybe just a reductive element. Yes, that is the case. This is exceptionally tightly wound. Leaving aside the initial hesitation before the wine had the chance to breathe, I think this wine is the star of the show with a fabulous intensity and a vivid underlying mineral acidity. Drink from 2027-2035. Tasted: May 2023.
