The nose is really defined by the lovely blueberry character, but there's lots of orange rind, blackberry compote, dark chocolate and plums too. The palate has all the richness you could ask for, but it's the pinpoint acidity and the grainy, beautifully poised tannins that really make this a delicious wine. So lithe but long on the finish. Drink in 2022.
