Tasting Notes

Monforte d'Alba. Palish ruby with bricky rim. Beautiful nose of cherry, sweet undergrowth and autumn leaves and with a suggestion of dried mushrooms. Opens up on the nose and becomes more focused and perfumed with cherry and a hint of cardamom pod. Elegant yet with gripping long tannins and floral fruit on the finish. Complex and hedonistic at the same time. Drink: 2022-2036
