Mid-deep garnet colour in the glass. The nose is effusive with dried fruit, leather, cigar leaf and sweet vanilla. The palate is plump and rich, with plummy, dried cherries and evocative, exotic spices. Lots of cedar, tobacco and earthy maturity build through the mid-palate, adding that quintessentially Tondonia savoury edge. Long and unerring with soft tannins, this is ready to drink now but will age comfortably for over a decade.
