Richebourg, Domaine Hudelot-Noellat 2018

Tasting Notes

As usual, the king of the cellar at Domaine Hudelot-Noellat is the 2018 Richebourg Grand Cru, a magical wine in the making that blossoms in the glass with complex scents of cherries, wild berries, candied peel, peonies, spices and smoked meats. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, rich and multidimensional, with an ample chassis of ripe tannins, considerable concentration and lively acids, concluding with a long, intense finish.

This is arguably the freshest wine in the range with its cool and pure aromas of plum, pomegranate, spice and a plethora of floral elements. The rich, full-bodied and almost painfully intense flavors while exhibiting focused power on the very firmly structured, stony and gorgeously complex finale. This is a buy and forget you own it Riche that possesses outstanding development potential.
