Bottled with 13% alcohol and 13 grams of residual sugar, the 2018 Riesling Reserve M is a blend of Kellerberg (two-thirds) and Loibenberg (one-third) vats that were Smaragd candidates but didn't fermented to dry. On the palate, this is a rich and concentrated, very elegant and salty, even fresh and piquant Riesling that should be cellared for at least a decade. Tight and tensioned but far too young. Tasted at the domain in September 2019.
