A little more evolution to the colour. A mild reduction which doesn’t stop the brisk red fruit showing through. More volume of fruit than anything before, balanced by the essential good acidity, a hint of funkiness which soon blew off. With time in the glass the wine cleaned up and blossomed, offering a magisterial and hedonistic wealth of fruit, supported by the powerful structure of the 2018 vintage. 13% alcohol. Drink from 2027-2040. Tasted: March 2023.
