This wine is a blend between a tiny holding of Beaumonts plus some declassified Echezeaux, from Les Loachausses. Purple of course, some fermentation aromas, and something which I did not fully recognise which Thomas ascribes to there being a certain proportion of pinot beurot in the vines. Strict and tense with dark fruit, more black notes at the finish,
