The 2017 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very expressive bouquet with scents of pressed rose petal that infuse the multi-layered red fruit. I like the mineral expression of this cru. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannin, very well balanced with wonderful poise on the sensual, pixelated finish. Give this three or four years in bottle before broaching.
