Here there is no reduction and the wonderfully spicy and expressive nose offers up ripe and fresh aromas of plum, violet and sandalwood. The lush, even opulent medium weight flavors possess a velvety texture while delivering excellent depth on the sappy, beautifully long and well-balanced finale. Lovely juice.
A dense mid crimson colour, with a lighter rim. The Grivot Beaux Monts delivers a wealth of fruit though with a strong reductive nose on top. The fruit energy is extremely impressive on the palate however. Open well in advance. From magnum. Drink from 2028-2040. Tasted Jun 2025.
