Not surprisingly given the very backward stage of the Chambertin, this offers significantly more aromatic breadth with its spicy dark fruit and almost invisible wood that introduces big, rich and serious flavors that are classy, refined and pure with superb power and length. I very much like the sense of harmony and overall balance and this too will require at least a decade of cellar time and probably more. Drink: 2015+
