The 2018 Chablis Cuvée de la Butte is a success, revealing pretty aromas of citrus oil, grapefruit, white flowers and oyster jus. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample but stony, with racy acids and a saline finish.
Aromas of matchstick, sea breeze, apple and tidal pool precede vibrant, stony and nicely detailed if not particularly concentrated flavors that offer more evident salinity on the equally dry and crisp finish. This is a bit more complex and overall, it is a competent villages.
