An exuberantly floral and spicy nose of red and black currant is nuanced by hints of smoke, earth and the sauvage. There is outstanding size, weight and punch to the sleekly muscular mineral-inflected middle weight plus flavors that possess fine power on the impressively long finish where hints of warmth and acid tang appear. Note that this is not overly complex at present and I would be inclined to cellar this over at least the mid-term to better develop it as it's somewhat one-dimensional today. Drink: 2027+
