Savoury nose that is pure Vosne. Masses of fruit. Juice and charm but transparency too. This climat always naturally tastes as though it has whole bunch. Great raciness. Some limestone brings freshness. Very flirtatious indeed.
I really liked how the 2014 Clos du Château was showing in November, particularly only a couple months out from its bottling. This is a very stylish wine, offering up a vibrant bouquet of raspberries, red plums, Vosne spice tones, woodsmoke, a fine base of soil and a discreet framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, pure and very elegant in profile, with a fine core, suave tannins and lovely length and grip. (Drink between 2020-2045)
