Tasting Notes

An exceptional wine, the 2003 Clos Vougeot explodes from the glass with tar, licorice, and black fruits. Deep, powerful, and chunky, it boasts an intense flavor profile of spiced black fruits, asphalt, and ink. This palate-staining behemoth is medium to full-bodied, hugely concentrated, and possesses a finish of interminable length. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2018.
