Ripe and pretty but somber as the pungently and deeply pitched earthy dark berry fruit aromas exhibit nuances of game and underbrush that are picked up on the textured, dense and mouth coating medium full flavors that offer excellent depth and length. This is not an especially elegant wine but it's a classic old school Gevrey. Worth a look.
