Soft wood frames a broad-ranging and very Gevrey nose of various wild dark berries, earth, spice and a hint of the sauvage. There is lovely intensity to the precise, tautly muscular and relatively powerful medium-bodied flavors that possess solid mid-palate volume before delivering very good complexity on the once again mildly austere, long and balanced finale. Good stuff.
