This is just as elegant and even more complex with a lovely range of spice elements that add interest to the softly earth-inflected aromas of red and dark cherry, rose petal and oak hints. The palate impression of the middle weight plus flavors is also succulent and seductive while delivering superb length on the firm but once again not austere finale. This too should be approachable after only 5 to 7 years yet the density and balance are so good that it should easily repay long-term cellaring.
