A discreet hint of wood frames wonderfully fresh aromas of pear, white peach and lavender scents. There is a really lovely underlying tension to the racy yet plump middle weight flavors that also conclude in a clean and dry finale. If this can add depth with a few years of bottle age it should make for an outstanding Bourgogne.
The 2014 Bourgogne Blanc has developed nicely during the remainder of its élevage since I tasted it from stainless steel tank, offering apple blossom, flint and smoky scents that possess much more character. The palate is fresh on the entry with citrus peel and fresh Granny Smith, well judged acidity and a bright and lively finish. This is precisely what you want from a Bourgogne Blanc. Tasted December 2016. Drink Date 2017 - 2022
Light and a tad tart. Not the finest Bourgogne Blanc I have tasted. Just a tad skinny. Massive acidity. Some hint of grapefruit.
