Nuits St Georges Aux Cras, Domaine Georges Noellat 2015

Here there is no reductive funk to the elegant, ultra-fresh and pure aromas of essence of red berry fruit, spice and soft earth scents. I love the delineation of the supple yet sleek and highly energetic flavors that brim with minerality that carries over to the dusty and balanced finish where a hint of bitter cherry arises.

Bright purplish crimson. Fine-boned perfume. Masses of fruit and splendour on the palate. Opens out like a peacock’s tail on the end. Very precise yet chock-full of fruit and impact. So winning you could drink this straight away. But it would be a shame as it’s still relatively raw and unformed.
