Tasting Notes

*Outstanding*
A typical Meursault nose features notes of hazelnut, citrus, pear and a hint of acacia blossom. There is good richness and volume to the relatively full-bodied flavors that thanks to the nicely prominent acid spine retain a fine sense of cut and delineation on the markedly linear and lingering finish that is on the leaner side at present. This should definitely benefit from a few years of bottle age to flesh out. Drink: 2021+

The 2013 Meursault (this the Narvaux bottling) has a straight-down-the-line, flinty/burnt match nose that we have all come know and love from this domaine. Frankly, nobody achieves the precision like this. The palate is very flattering with great volume married with fine acidity, hints of peach and tangerine, lively and vivacious with a long and tender finish that just goes on and on. This is one of those wines I'll be hunting for on restaurant lists around Burgundy. 2016 - 2026

A lovely bottle already drinking very well, with the trademark struck match nose but masses of fruit along with characteristic precision on the palate.
