Tasting Notes

**Note: 75% of the blend derives from 35+ year old vines in Les Barreaux and the remainder from 60+ year old vines in Aux Communes**
An ultra-fresh nose displays notes of herbal tea, red and dark berries and discreet spice notes. There is a lovely mouth feel to the concentrated and powerful medium weight flavors that terminate in a tight and moderately austere finale. This well-defined effort should reward up to a decade of bottle age.

**Note: from vines just above Richebourg**
Strong reduction completely masks the underlying fruit. There is a lovely mouth feel to the concentrated, dense and powerful medium weight flavors that terminate in a surprisingly rustic, long and complex finale. I can't remember ever having a Méo Vosne villages quite this big and structured.
