This is more aromatically elegant with high-toned aromas that feature essence of red pinot fruit, Asian spice nuances and soft floral undertones. The very supple and relatively forward middle weight flavors possess a satiny mouth feel before terminating in a mineral-inflected, detailed, balanced and mildly austere finish. This is quite understated and pure and will need a few years to flesh out. This is not as big as the Boudots but I prefer this for its finesse and refinement.
