Clos de Vougeot Musigni, Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur 2010

Tasting Notes

**Note: from a 1.5 ha parcel that was replanted sequentially - 1985, 1988 and 1989; the wine carries the qualifier of Musigni because it comes from a parcel of vines at the top of Clos de Vougeot, directly across from the vineyard of Musigny**
Relatively discreet wood spice folds into the otherwise ripe, pretty and relatively airy nose that is composed of primarily earthy red pinot fruit aromas. There is excellent volume and richness to the full-bodied and distinctly serious flavors that possess good mid-palate concentration on the solidly well-detailed and lingering finish where enough wood to notice surfaces. There is good maturity to the structural elements and this should offer 12 to 15 years of upside development.
