A discreet touch of wood sets off an expansive nose of ripe and spicy dark berry fruit, animale hints and intense earth and underbrush notes that can also be found on the concentrated, intense and well-muscled flavors that are also blessed with unbelievable dry extract that lends a chewy but not rustic character to the vibrant, harmonious and strikingly long finish. This is very tightly structured with dense but fine tannins that are completely buffered by all of the dry extract yet it's abundantly clear that this will be a long distance runner. A wine that has that rare ""wow"" factor.
