A very ripe nose of black raspberry liqueur and warm earth nuances where the latter character also suffuses the exceptionally rich flavors that ooze a plenitude of dry extract that renders the otherwise firm tannic spine almost invisible at present. This is an overtly powerful and muscular effort that is classy, harmonious and impressively persistent on the impeccably well-balanced finish. Terrific and very Santenots.
