Medium deep ruby-purple in color, the 2010 Block 5 Pinot Noir has earthy, meaty, gamey aromas intermingling with notes of warm raspberries, dried cranberries, tar and a touch of Ceylon tea. Medium-bodied with a crisp acid backbone and medium levels of grainy tannins, it is a quite savory, concentrated style with a long finish. It should drink best 2013 to 2018+.
Dried flowers and dark fruits. Strawberry. Beet root. Fine tannins. Bright tension. Drink or hold.
