Moderate oak influence combines with brooding but exceptionally pretty and very spicy dark berry and plum aromas that dissolve into the rich, sweet and sappy flavors that possess so much extract that there's a chewy but not inelegant quality to the intense and linear finish where a hint of menthol surfaces. This isn't rustic but it knocks on the door of it. Still, I found this very ripe beauty to be most impressive and it should reward amply 10 to 15 years of patience.
