Armand de Brignac Rosé Non Vintage

Tasting Notes

Well-spiced and finely knit, this harmonious rosé is framed by firm acidity wrapped in a creamy mousse and flavors of dried apricot, wild strawberry and almond skin. Smoke, floral and orange peel notes linger on the finish. Drink now through 2020.

Pale rose pink with a hint of tomato colour. This does actually smell a little like roses. Serious nose. The palate is a bit more youthful and demanding than the nose suggests. I would ideally keep this a year or two. I love the nose. 2016 - 2018

The Armand de Brignac NV Brut Rosé is an intense salmon colored blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay sourced in the Montage de Reims, Côte des Blancs and Valée de la Marne and comprises the vintages of 2009, 2010 and 2012. The bouquet is intensely fruity yet clear, fine and well-defined. Full-bodied, round, vinous and elegant on the palate, this cuvée reveals a grippy mineral freshness and lingering structure. Persistent finish. Powerful yet pure. The cooler the better. Tasted from magnum and lot L107D8 in April 2018. The 750-milliliter bottle sells for $400. 2018 - 2025
