Tasting Notes

A second wine of an excellent Margaux at 12 years old in a great vintage should be on its absolute plateau right now, and while this is fairly evolved, it offers plenty of gentle soft leather and brioche pleasure. There is some sweet brambly fruit with the faintest trace of brett, but overall it's a beautiful wine to enjoy over the next few years. It's crying out for slow-braised lamb. 3.77pH, 31% of production.
