Côte Rôtie La Mordorée, Maison M. Chapoutier 2005

Tasting Notes

There are 577 cases of the 2005 Cote Rotie La Mordoree. This deep ruby/purple wine exhibits loads of tannin, bits of bacon fat, cassis, and a steely personality with superb depth, but an abundance of structure and tannin, and also displays tobacco leaf and a hint of fig. It will require 5-8 years of cellaring and drink well for 20-25 years.
