Seemingly austere, but perplexing. The color is a healthy dark-ruby. The closed nose eventually gives up jammy cherry notes, smoke, and earth. Medium -bodied, unevolved, tannic, and rather compresses, this Pignan needs 2-3 years of bottle age. Anticipated maturity : 2001 - 2010.
