Tasting Notes

Wonderfully complex, intense and sappy with fairly supple flavors yet robust, dusty tannins, good richness and grand cru length. The really distinguishing characteristic though is the superb intensity as this offers flavor authority in spades yet comes across as somewhat understated in style. This should drink well for a long time.

Allen Meadows, Burghound.com (6), April 2002

exhibits an appealing sweet red and black fruit laced nose that also possesses a wild, spicy element.
