Rivesaltes, Domaine Sainte Barbe 1970

Tasting Notes

A rusty brown/orange colour. Nutty on the nose with hints of demerera sugar. The palate is medium-sweet and balanced with a nice cut of acidity with Granny Smith-like bite. Fresh despite the obvious age. Complex, long and fascinating. This reminds us of an Oloroso sherry. A lingering finish stays in the mouth for a minute or more.
