The '05 Musigny easily possesses the most aromatic breadth of any wine in the range with an utterly kaleidoscopic nose ranging from Asian spice to rose and violet-infused floral notes that are at once delicate, pure and seductive while complementing to perfection the rich, subtle, reserved and relatively understated flavors that are superbly precise and intense, all wrapped in a mineral-infused finish that is nothing but sheer silk and velvet. This is one classy wine that won't necessarily wow you with its power but the refinement and poise are riveting, indeed it is a Zen wine.
