Vosne Romanee 1er Cru, Domaine de la Romanée Conti 1999

Tasting Notes

A veritable spice cupboard of aromas greets the nose followed by ripe, effusive, supple, sappy, super saturated flavors and outstanding length. This is long, reasonably dense and finishes with a trace of chocolate. I very much like the intensity of the finish. Tasted multiple times with consistent notes.

Medium bodied, lush and expansive, it is fresh, filled with crunchy red and black berries, and has an impressively long, sweet, tannin-filled finish. Anticipated maturity: 2003 – 2010.
