Tasting Notes

This Saint Emilion is made under the supervision of Valandraud's Jean-Luc Thunevin and it shows. This wine scored very highly when tasted blind as it has a fabulously opulent mouthfeel thanks to some lovely new oak and decadently ripe fruit. If this wine had received a score from Robert Parker (the 2001 has 89-92) it would be considerably more expensive. Drop-dead gorgeous and a bargain!
