The code on the back of the bottle allows you to find out all the technical details of this precise bottle. This is what I was told. Bottling date 22.05.2019; Riddling date 28.07.2025; Disgorging date 26.02.2026; Dosage – Residual Sugar (g/L) 9.4. This is deeply impressive. Lovely fruit on the nose with sweet pear and white peach as well as ripe citrus fruit, combining well with subtle toasty autolytic characters that are lurking in the background. The palate is rich, generous and fruity but has lovely lemony focus and some crystalline character, finishing long and tapering. No rough edges here, with everything integrating perfectly and an overall sense of harmony and approachability, combined with complexity. This is a beautiful wine, and it’s really serious.
