Dense deep black purple. The bouquet is a mix of dark black fruit with a slight leavening, perhaps from the stems which were added back in. Much tighter than expected on the palate with an excellent crunchy mineral acidity to finish. Still in black fruit, but balanced even so. Quite a powerful finish.
