CDP Le Vieux Donjon Blanc, Le Vieux Donjon (Lucien Michel) 2024

Tasting Notes

Tasted blind. Lime and mandarin aromas. Wonderful acidity here gives a streak of energy, vitality and vibrancy. Zippy and elegant, with good concentration of fruit as well. Impressive and very approachable but will flesh out in the bottle, too. Drink: 2027-2039

Juicy, sweet pear and yellow plum fruit, this is very open and accessible. No oak or excess alcohol. Bright and slightly tense, this has a firmness and intensity, a stoniness on the finish. I would keep for a few years at least, as it will relax and open more with time. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. Drink: 2028-2038
