Tasting Notes

Lots of black olive with dark fruit and sandalwood on the nose. Full-bodied with layers of velvety and soft tannins, yet they stay vibrant and focused. Very integrated palate. Flavorful at the end. Drink after 2026.

Owned by the Labruyère family, 17ha of organically farmed plots near L'Eglise-Clinet and Le Gay. Dark nose, blueberry, blackcurrant, liquorice spice, aniseed and dark chocolate. Silky and supple, this has bounce and chew, a gorgeous dollop of juicy acidity on the mid-palate before the tannins and fruity density take over. Glorious, an element of opulence but there’s refinement, too. Complex and characterful. (Certified organic as of the 2023 vintage.) Drink: 2025-2044
