The 2019 Branas Grand Poujeaux has a lovely, pure and detailed bouquet with perfumed blackberry and raspberry fruit, crushed stone and cedar, a hint of graphite emerges with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, graphite infused black fruit leading the way with an unapologetically classic, slightly austere yet captivating finish. Excellent.
